Dayspring Financial
Assistance Information

All applicants must be in full agreement with DBC's doctrinal statement, complete an application showing proof of need, provide references or documentation, declare a 2 or 4 year program, and sign a statement of intent.

Students must maintain a minimum of 12 credit units per semester. By accepting a scholarship, students give their statement of intent to finish that program in 2 or 4 consecutive years at DBC.

Ministerial Scholarship
Full tuition per semester
Meet general qualifications for financial assistance, be enrolled in the Pastoral Studies or Missions programs, be recommended by your Pastor, and pass our selection process.

Parents in Service Scholarship
Full tuition per semester
Meet the general qualifications for financial assistance, have at least one parent serving full-time in an approved Bible-believing ministry, and pass our selection process.

Academic Honors Scholarship
Full tuition per semester
Meet the general qualifications for financial assistance, have graduated from high school as class valedictorian or salutatorian, and pass our selection process.

Church Partnership Scholarships
Full or half tuition per semester
Two types of church-based financial support for students connected to Bible-believing local churches.
Church Scholarship — Full tuition
Be the first person from your church to enroll in DBC and pass our selection process.
Matching Scholarship — Half tuition
Dayspring matches the amount paid by your home church toward your school bill. Be recommended by your Pastor and pass our selection process.

Work Assistance Program
Discount applied to school expenses
Students work in exchange for a discount on school expenses. Jobs are assigned based on financial need, applicant qualifications, and availability. Cannot be combined with other scholarships.

Earn While You Learn

Dayspring students with financial needs may apply for our work assistance program, under which the student works in exchange for a discount applied to school expenses.

Jobs are varied. Most female students would qualify for working with young children; male students would be given roles as church workers.

Flexible Scheduling
Students must agree to work specified hours, including holidays and weekends when the school is closed.

Credit Units — Use It or Lose It
Any unused credit units at the end of a semester expire and hold no monetary value.

Cannot Be Combined
The Work Assistance Program cannot be combined with any other scholarship.

Fill out the Financial Assistance Application completely

Pass our selection process successfully

There must be an available work scholarship position at the time of application

Scholarship Conditions

Minimum 12 credit units per semester required to maintain scholarship
Grade maintenance below "C" or dropout results in forfeiture of scholarship
Scholarships are credited directly to the student's school bill
One scholarship per student, per semester — programs cannot be stacked
Scholarships may be terminated for serious conduct code violations
Extra program costs and additional fees are not covered by scholarships
